Curious Peak in Understanding Organization Behavior
Human is a one of core part of organization,Importance of study human behavior and Organization Behavior in the organization culture and its effect
Organization Behavior
You are hired as the new CEO or manager of a company overseas or a different region where you applied. You came to the company door and wanted to enter but the employee asked you for an Admit card and your card has not been issued yet. He did not let you even though you insist that you are the new CEO (Warning: do not try).
You are shocked that when you were in the last company the let person in the office if they knew he/she was the employee of the company even without the admit card or if other person in office let his/her in on his behalf.
What was the first thing that came into your mind when you hear the word / term "Organization Behavior". When you look a term, it has two words Organization and Behavior so you can take a guess that it is about the behavior of the organization!!? You are missing something; it is the behavior of people inside the organization.
So, you can use organization behavior studies to predict the behavior of people in the organization so that you can take correct action to improve the organization culture.
So, you can interpret the first word "organization" as a about a collective independent unit of people working together to achieve common goals and second words "behavior" tells that you are looking into the behavior of this specific group of people in the organization and the relationship between them.
Curious peak in Understanding Organization behavior Thumbnail Why we are Studying this?
Organization Behavior is the backbone of the organization & management Studies. Organization Behavior is the study of the impact of individuals, group of people in organization and the structure of the organization on behavior within organizations and study and analyzing those relation and cause and effect in systematic studies to improve effectiveness and efficiency of organization.
Origins of Organization Behavior
Organization Behavior studies started with the emerging trend of industries, multi-national and globalization. Max Weber was the earliest to study in this field and gave the idea of bureaucracy as an ideal type of organization.
Scholars Contributed to The Growth of Organizational Behavior
I will mention a few of the scholars that have immensely contributed to the work of organizational behavior like Henri Fayol, Mary Parker Follett (mother of ethical leadership, came with this idea century ago against treating laborers as commodities). Frederick Herzberg, Abraham Maslow, Elton Mayo, Chester Barnard, Henri Fayol, Mary Parker Follett, Frederick Herzberg, Abraham Mas low David Mc Cellan and Victor Vroom contributed to the growth of Organizational Behavior as a discipline.
Systematic Study Contribution to Our Understanding of Organizational Behavior
Before I explain the contribution the Systematic Study Contribution to Our Understanding Of organizational behavior, we first need to understand the term of "Systematic Study" it means we study based on scientific studies and evidence to draw conclusions when looking at relationships and to find and describe the causes and effects between different variables on data gathered under controlled conditions, measured, and interpreted in a scientific manner
When a manager makes a decision, his decision is based on one of two things it can be intuition or gut instinct or it can be based on scientific evidence that can be Evidence-based management (EBM). Both have their pros and cons, but systematic studies and Evidence-based management (EBM) decisions show far better results as they solid ground on why they take their decisions and how that decision influences the organization, and hat will be the result of that decision.

Big Data
Since 1749 data have been used to evaluate the behavior. Big data is simply raw data in exponential size in volume yet growing exponentially with time. It is enormous in size and complexity that a normal data management program cannot process it efficiently.
Current usage
Today, organizations know that if they used systematic studies in their decision-making related to their workers and customers, then they can predict the behavior of their customers and can accurately predict and target the marketing to fulfill their needs and increase revenue.
Example
There are a few examples of how big organizations used systematic studies to efficiently U.S. defense contractor BAE Systems protects itself from cyber-attacks using systematic analysis, San Francisco's Bank of the West uses customer data to create tiered pricing systems, big organization like Facebook and google used this system to create revenue as they mostly rely on advertisement, so they predict the behavior of Users.
In other organizations, if they want to implement new systems, they will contact McKenzie or other companies that have a special team that analyze the whole business model and gives their recommendations to their clients to the problem they propose and their solution.
Thought & Conclusion
The new trend is that all organizations are moving toward the potential of data-driven management and decision making by managers and companies. If a manager uses those data and statistics to makes goals, strategies to achieve that goal and monitored and optimize the employee activities that are relevant to the objectives then it makes use of organization employees efficiently and effectively to achieve the goals.
